Out of the Bruce Trail adventure Rhonda-Marie Avery founded a non-profit called The Envisions Project to help ‘other-abled’ athletes live their big adventures. And because she is out to change perceptions around disability she continues to adventure. Just a couple of months ago she was the first disabled athlete to attempt The Barkley 100. If you haven’t heard of Barkley its simply the world’s toughest race. This is the blog post her guide wrote after surviving Barkley http://www.liveforaliving.com/living-blog/the-blind-leading-the-blind
Her next big challenge is heading to Florida March 2017 to be the first disabled person do a double Ironman. She is taking on the world.
